Sri Ramaiah Reddy Educational Trust started Vidyanjali in the year 1992, to provide ‘excellent’ education for the children of the surrounding localities.

As a first step to the excellent education, Vidyanjali started its first fully equipped Montessori Pre-primary Environment in the year 1993, one of the only 16 Montessori schools in Bangalore. In 1998, Vidyanjali started the first Montessori Primary Environment, the first of its kind in whole India.

A step ahead in its path to excellence, Vidyanjali decided to provide Montessori education, which was earlier opened only for the elite, to all for a nominal fee. Consequently, four Montessori Primary and three Montessori Pre-primary Environments were started and Montessori education was provided for all the children from 2 ½ years to 8 years from Montessori to 3rd standard.

Another important stage in the history of Vidyanjali is its affiliation to Central Board of Secondary Education in 2008 and accreditation by ISO: 9001:2008 in the year 2011.

Vidyanjali’s journey of excellence doesn’t end here. It has applied for NABET Accreditation in the year 2014-15 and was successful in getting the Accreditation in the year 2015-16.

The Managing Trustee of Sri Ramaiah Reddy Educational Trust, C.R. Lokesh Reddy is a visionary who believes that good education lays a strong foundation for a healthy society, and provides a basis for human values. Mr. Reddy is the financial support and backbone of Vidyanjali Academy for Learning.
