Co-Curriculum

Saturdays are kept for co-curricular activities. The children have to choose one out of Yoga, music, arts and craft, dance, Sanskrit, Karate and IT club.

YOGA

Yoga is the Unity of mind, body and soul. The yoga Club is an excellent platform for the students to learn a variety of Asanas with the coordination of body and mind. The students acquire the skills to develop concentration, and confidence. It also keeps them physically fit and mentally relaxed.

KARATE

Vidyanjali has a karate club that boosts self-confidence, fitness level, energy and vitality. It promotes respect and courtesy. The students learn Self-Defence and success values. By constantly breaking pre-conceived mental and physical barriers, a student learns the power of persistence and achieves a valuable skill for life.

DANCE

Dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body. Dance club exerts positive beneficial effects on the pupils’ skills. Dancing, like all physical activities, develops important psycho-motor qualities. The systematic and organized practice of dancing influences in a positive manner the harmonious development of the body, improves the coordination, creativity and artistic imagination, and influences the human mind as well.

MUSIC

What Sports and games is to the body, and Reading to the Mind so is the Music to the soul. Music helps the students in increased language development, math ability, improved school grades, better-adjusted social behavior, and improvements in reasoning ability. Music is a cornerstone for problem solving. So to cater to all these needs a music club is provided to the students.

SANSKRIT

The Sanskrit Club was started with an objective to kindle the students’ interest in Sanskrit language. The students of various language backgrounds are motivated towards appreciating the vast cultural heritage of India by learning the Traditional Language of India.
